At SwimXcelerate Swim Academy®, we offer children’s swimming lessons near Bushey designed to help young swimmers build confidence, learn essential water safety skills, and enjoy every stage of their swimming journey. Our small-group lessons — from Water Confidence through Beginner, Improver, and Advanced levels — support toddlers and children as they develop strong technique in a positive and encouraging environment.

✔ All classes have a maximum ratio of 4 children to 1 teacher.
✔ All staff are qualified and DBS checked and receive regular on-the-job training.
✔ All participants are assessed monthly, with all feedback emailed to parents.
Suitable for ages 3-5 years with no prior swimming lesson experience.
Suitable for ages 5-15 years who have no swimming lesson experience or are unable to swim 10m on their front and back.
Suitable for age 5-15 years who are able to swim front crawl, backstroke and breaststroke in deep water from 15-25m.
Suitable for age 5-15 years who are able to swim 50-100 m of technically accurate front crawl, backstroke and breaststroke.

How many children per class?
All of our classes have a maximum of 4 children to one teacher.
How frequently do the children get assessed?
Children are assessed once every 4 weeks.
What is the temperature of your pool?
Our pool is heated to 28 degrees.
How long are the swimming lessons?
All of our swimming lessons are 30min in duration.
What qualifications do the team hold?
All of our swim staff are UK-qualified, DBS-checked and receive regular on-the-job training.
Who do I contact about my child's progress?
You can contact the team poolside or email swimming-lessons@swimxcelerate.co.uk
How much are your lessons?
Our lessons are £9.50 per lesson, paid termly by bank transfer.
Can I book a trial lesson?
New customers can receive a pro rata refund anytime within the first 14 days of lessons.
